The world lost an amazing and caring woman.

After this weekend, I’ve come to appreciate how lucky I am to still have both of my parents. This woman had two younger daughters that are barely becoming teenagers. Its amazing how such an amazing person could die at such a young age. Even though I wasn’t very close to her, she was still part of my family’s life. As I heard her family and friend’s say their eulogies, I couldn’t help but cry. As my mother stated, “only the good die young.” When I watched her husband stand up in front of us all, I looked at their kids faces. It seemed as though they took the news better than anyone else. They didn’t cry or looked sad and they even smiled. And after another eulogy I understood why. They wrote a letter to their mother explaining how its okay that it was her time to go. They love their mother with all of their heart but had watched her suffer night after night. They knew that it would be better for their mother to leave to finally get rid of all of the pain she had endured.

She was a loving mother and wife, a caring individual, and overall an amazing person who always found good in people. Breast cancer didn’t stop her from having all of these qualities. Her family will always be in my prayers.
